PROJECT PULSE
Teen-Powered Media. Real Voices. Live Impact.

What Is Project Pulse?
Project Pulse is a 24-week youth media program where teens ages 13–19 run their own live broadcast show on YouTube and Twitch. Every segment is written, produced, and delivered by a young person. Every role in the production room belongs to a teen. This isn’t a class it’s a real media operation, and the students own it.

The Show
Each episode features six live segments: an Opening Mic with weekly hot takes, On The Grind covering local high school sports and major NBA/NFL/MLB highlights, a DJ Spotlight with live mixes, The Pulse breaking down current events and pop culture, an Interview Room with athletes and community guests, and Entrepreneur’s Corner spotlighting youth business stories. Sixty minutes. All teens. Live every week.

What Students Walk Away With
Every participant holds a real industry role Host, DJ, Engineer, Sports Reporter, Brand Manager, or Segment Producer paired with a working professional mentor. Graduates earn A Certification, a recognized workforce credential documenting their skills in broadcast production, sports journalism, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship. Students also receive real earnings through the Student Producer Fund, which distributes program revenue quarterly.

Where We Meet
Program sessions are held at the Bowie Recreational Center and the Bowie Library.

Support the Program
Project Pulse runs on community investment. Your donation puts equipment in teen hands, brings in professional mentors, and keeps the show on air. Every dollar goes directly toward giving a young person a real production role, a real credential, and a student stiphen.
